For this manicure, I started out with a base of OPI My Favorite Ornament from the Mariah Carey Holiday collection. Don't you just love when the polish name fits the art theme? My nail art is often inspired by the lacquer name, although in this case it was a happy accident that I only discovered after the manicure was complete. I'll show you full swatches of it, along with the rest of the Mariah Carey collection soon...
Just in case you are curious as to what exactly went into making this manicure, I listed the source of the stud, the polish used to paint the paint it and the plate name/number used for stamping. All silver stamping was done using Pure Ice Silver Mercedes and the gold stamping done using Maybelline Bold Gold. The pine branches are hand painted using acrylic paints...
I picked nail studs from a few different wheels. The ones on the left and top are from the BornPrettyStore and the one bottom right is from Winstonia. Each of them has a fun array of various stud choices...
P.S. A tutorial for how I created the ornaments is now available here...
Thanks for looking!
