Madness - Embarrassment

On this date in 1980, Madness released their eighth single, "Embarrassment". It was backed by "Crying Shame". The A side appeared on their second album, Absolutely. The B side was a non-LP track. The single reached the #4 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London, England ska band called it quits in 1986 but re-formed in 1992 and is still intact.
