Here's another vintage Victory Garden poster. "Our Food is Fighting"....the government was encouraging people to grow their own food to help cut down on the food demand of the nation so that more food could go to rations for the Americans serving overseas.
I still think someone should bring back this sort of campaign, to try and get more people to grow their own food at home.
