IK Osakioduwa returns as a host for the fourth time while Minnie, a South African actress and Television host takes over from Zimbabwean Big Brother Star aand host of Star Gist, Vimbai.
Speaking on the announcement, Minnie said,
"I am very excited to be on the biggest platform for celebrating talent in Africa. The AMVCAs recognise and celebrate film and television across Africa, and as a proud African, Iam truly delighted to play a role in this celebration".
Returning host IK also had this to say,
"It is truly an honour to host the AMVCAs for a fourth successive year. I have been priviledged to see first hand the contribution of the awards to the film and television industry across Africa and this gets bigger and better every year. The 2016 edition will definitely be bigger than the others and viewers at home should tune in to catch it".
