G-Unit was a FORCE back in the early to mid 2000s, and asides from the dope rappers 50 Cent had on his team, another element that made the crew hot was their DJ; this helped when they were hot in the mixtape scene. Game, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and then Tony Yayo have all had a falling out with 50 Cent in that order. Even Sha Money XL (music producer with G Unit back in the day...he also handled management of artist on G Unit) ain't rolling with 50 no more, but DJ Whoo Kid is still by his side. During his recent sit-down with HipHopDX, he was asked how he feels being the last G Unit man standing by 50 Cent's side, and he said...
"Yeah, everybody’s beefing… [Laughs]. I figured it out when I was on stage at South by Southwest. I was like, “Oh, shit. It’s just me and Fif.” [Laughs] I just couldn’t believe it. I was in Europe, and I see Yayo arguing with Fif on Instagram, I’m like “What is going on?” I guess no friendship/partnership can last forever. You can start out wanting and believing in the same things, but with time, everybody always wants to go in different directions, and do their own things. The hardest thing in the world to do is to keep a group of people working together for one cause...I ain't saying it is impossible, I am just saying it is hard to achieve. I guess that's what makes us human; every individual has his or her own dreams.
