Cica products have been so popular since 1-2 years that almost every brand has come with their own line of cica products.
It's Skin had already released last year some products in their Tiger Cica line (a gel cream, a balm, a cushion) and this year they've extended the line with a calming serum and a foam cleanser. I wanted to try this line from It's Skin and when I saw they had a new serum, I didn't hesitate and got it. The foam cleanser came along in my shopping cart as I also like foam cleansers equipped with a pump.
Cica is the short name of Centella Asiatica (C-ica). Centella Asiatica is a fantastic plant for sensitive and acne-prone skin as it's soothing and wound-healing. I wrote a detailed article about it HERE if you want to know more about it.

This is a gel cream type of serum that is easy to spread, feels lightweight and is easily absorbed without residue. Immediately when you start spreading it, you can feel a sensation of hydration.
As I said it doesn't leave a residue on the skin and I can't feel any stickiness left behind.
In terms of scent, it has a bergamot scent to my nose. It actually has a mix of bergamot oil, lemon peel oil, orange peel, Ylang-ylang flower oil, lemon grass leaf oil, eucalyptus leaf oil, and lavender oil, which all contribue to the scent of the final product.

The main point of this serum is to be soothing and wound-healing. This is reflected in the ingredients and this is of course a good point.
We can find indeed Centella Asiatica Extract as the first ingredient. I wrote a detailed article about this plant HERE. In a few words, it’s a fantastic soothing and wound-healing plant with additional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Perfect if you need extra soothing and also great for acne-prone skin.
In addition to centella asiatica, you can find panthenol, another soothing and wound-healing ingredient. At the end of the ingredient list, you can also find Medecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, and Asiaticoside, the molecules responsible for the medicinal values of centella asiatica, great but as they’re present in low amount, I’m not sure if they really bring something. That said we have centella asiastica as the first ingredient and panthenol pretty high in the list, which means this formulation is indeed soothing!
The other ingredients are there to tune to the texture of the serum, i.e some moisturizers and thickening ingredients, slip agents etc. We also have quite of lot of humectants (Gycerin, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol) that will draw water into the skin and help retain it.
Finally there are also some fragrant plants, such as bergamot oil, lemon peel oil, orange peel, Ylang-ylang flower oil, lemon grass leaf oil, eucalyptus leaf oil, and lavender oil. Most of them have antiseptic and antioxidant properties but as they’re fragrant, they’re not ideal for sensitive skin. They give a distinct herbal scent to the serum, which is actually not unpleasant, but I wonder why they added potential sensitizers in a soothing serum targeting sensitive skin (probably because of the antiseptic properties of them, I guess).

Overall this is indeed a nice soothing gel-cream type of serum (thanks to centella asiatica extract and panthenol) that feels hydrating. As a bonus it comes in a superb packaging that looks gorgeous and feels sturdy. It contains 80mL, which is much more than most serums (normally, serums come in a 30mL bottle or sometimes 50mL), that's quite generous! The only con I can see is the presence of some fragrant plants (not in large amount though), they're antiseptic and therefore good for acne-prone skin but not ideal for sensitive skin. My skin is sensitive and I haven't had any issue with it but I still wanted to mention it.

It's a soothing foam cleanser dispensed via a pump. It contains 55% of Centella Asiatica extract that mildly soothes the skin. "Weak acidic pH keeps your skin moist and healthy. EGW green ingredients protect your skin comfortably. Bubble form removes waste from the skin."
HOW DOES IT LOOK, FEEL, SMELL
It feels super gentle on the skin and has a delicate fruity scent. The scent is completely different from the scent of the serum (serum is more herbal, cleanser is more fruity). I actually really really like the scent and how it feels on the skin.
The product is dispensed via a pump and you get a moderately dense foam. Typically this is not as dense as some Japanese foam cleansers, here it's more airy. It feels rather soft and delicate when you start using it. Importantly it doesn't strip your skin from natural oil and doesn't leave a squeaky clean result, which is a good point, it means it's not too harsh and is gentle for the skin.

This foam cleanser claims to be a gentle cleanser and that's true. It contains only gentle and ultra mild surfactants (Diosodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Lauryl Hydroxysultaine, Coco-Betaine), which is fantastic for a daily foam cleanser!

Finally I also like the scent, a very subtle fruity scent.
